Discover the Secrets of the Four Pillars of Destiny in 2012
Discover the Secrets of the Four Pillars of Destiny in 2012.
Why do we do the things we do? How can we be sure to choose the right paths?
Learn Ba Zi with Richard Ashworth this autumn.
What is Ba Zi? Ba Zi or Four Pillars of Destiny is a snapshot of the prevailing Elements at our birth, sometimes misleadingly called a Chinese Horoscope. It can tell us what our likely strengths, weaknesses, tastes and appetites are likely to be. A bit like a mileometer, it can be run forward or back to suggest our likely decisions and challenges at any given time.
Is this scientific or just oriental mumbo jumbo? Richard often calls it mumbo-jumbo but most Chinese Masters would say that scientific is exactly what it is. Richard tends to recommend judgement based on fact: and the fact as you will discover is that a precisely drafted Ba Zi can highlight moments of decision, past, present or future and allow us to re-choose. Not that this makes us puppets in the thrall of Fate: as poor choices are identified, what has been chosen can be unchosen.
How ancient is this thing? Feng shui Masters since the T’ang Dynasty (7th to 10th century) have used The Four Pillars to dissolve blocks and encourage health, wealth and happiness. Today some use Ba Zi as a part of feng shui practice, some apply it freestanding. For some it is about wealth, some about health, relationship and deeper values.
When do I Start? You can learn to navigate your own fate and those of others by joining us to learn Ba Zi this autumn over four weekends starting 10th/11th November and concluding in May 2013.
What will I learn? Ba Zi is a lifetime study but at the conclusion of the course you will be able to draft Ba Zi in Chinese characters (not actually that hard) and you’ll have all the information necessary to interpret accurately.
Who is Richard Ashworth? One of Europe’s most prominent feng shui men, probably best known for introducing authentic Chinese feng shui to a mass audience on tv’s Housebusters. His book, the Feng Shui Diaries (now available as a download) has been described as “not only the most informative starter book on feng shui but the funniest.” About Richard.
Why do it now? Because the Early Early Bird offer which shaves £300 off the price runs out on September the First.
