Looks like a year of wild weather: unseasonal rain (those melting glaciers have to go somewhere) and wild wind. And some wild behaviour to match. Big changes: think back to previous Snake Years: in 2001, the Twin Towers fell and in 1989 the Berlin Wall. Don’t expect a quiet life right now.
We will be taking a long look at the world at large as it promises to be in 2025 as well as at your own space and your own Zodiac Animals.
Those of you who have been following for a while will know there are certain pockets of energy (or Stars) to housetrain that move to different locations each year. You’ll know also that the most powerful contrary force of the year enters from the tai sui, this year again in the South East where it’ll need some attention.
Of course some Animals are favoured over others: some say the Snake herself is “poked”; the Rooster is on show as rarely before, the Ox is as intuitive and the Monkey as ready to take the stage; Pigs are reckoned to be directly challenged. I’ll be making suggestions for each Animal. You have four at least btw: one each for your Year, Month, Day and Hour) and it is as unlikely that they will all be countered as that they’ll all have a free ticket. So you’ll want to know which is which.
Face-to-face here in Godalming (10am-5:30ish GMT 14th December) deep in the Surrey woods (but only 45 minutes from London) we’ll be holding a day workshop covering all this: it’s our last event before Christmas and it’s often a lot of fun as well as a time of powerful learning. Equally powerful but necessarily a little less intimate is the Zoom version, timed to suit international (principally American) students via Zoom (3-9pm GMT/ 10am-4pm Eastern Time 7th December).
A world pre-occupied by disaster has often proved to be a cauldron of creativity. Whether an expression of denial or healing, a Wood Snake year is typically one of artistic and cultural breakthroughs. Think of 1965 and the renaissance of British Music, design, art and fashion: the Beatles, Mary Quant, the Mini.
We live in interesting times.
